Electromagnetic waves are generated through frequency oscillations which usually involve a coil of wire or in an extension such as a transmitting antenna. Lasers are light, formed in a coherent beam and generally don't exhibit electromagnetic waves.

Difference is in their frequency, audible sound waves is between 12 Hz and 20,000 Hz, Ultrasound waves is any sound that has a frequency beyond the 20,000 Hz limit

Is it true that the closer an earthquake the greater the time difference between the arrival of P-waves and the arrival of S-waves?

False. The closer you are to the epicentre, the smaller the time difference between the arrival of P and S-waves.

Are gamma ray used in lasers?

Conventional lasers do not emit gamma radiation. Lasers use electromagnetic waves in the visible spectrum; this is light that you can actually see. Gamma rays are electromagnetic waves with much more energy and much higher frequency than visible light.

What is the relation between the path difference and phase difference?

The phase difference between two waves is directly proportional to the path difference between them. The phase difference is a measure of how much the wave has shifted along its oscillation cycle, while the path difference is a measure of the spatial separation between two points where the waves are evaluated.
