The difference between glucose and hexanoic acid is that hexanoic acid has a higher Hydrogen per Carbon content than glucose. Because of the high Hydrogen per Carbon content, Hexanoic Acid produces more energy than Glucose when it goes through cellular respiration.
I think the d/f b/w hexanoic acid and glucose ia due to functional group in hexanoic acid i.e, COOH which make it posinous as compared to glucose...
Is it so??
The molecular formula of caproic acid is C6H12O2.Structurally, it has an unbranched hydrocarbon chain terminating in a carboxyl group:C5H11COOH. It is also known as hexanoic acid. The molecular formula for caproic acid is C6H12O2. Caproic acid is also called hexanoic acid.
An amino acid is the monomer of proteins, and a nucleic acid is genetic material.
The main difference between lactic acid fermentation and aerobic equation is the presence of oxygen. Lactic acid fermentation does not require oxygen, while in aerobic equation, oxygen is present.
C6H1206 -->2CH3CHOHCOOH + ENERGY GLUCOSE --> LACTIC ACID + ENERGY THIS IS ANAEROBIC RESPIRATION
Alcohol Fermentation Glucose --> ATP+CO2+Alcohol Lactic Acid Fermentation Glucose --> ATP+Lactic Acid
It is 'hexanoic acid' or 'caproic acid'.
hexanol
It is 'hexanoic acid' or 'caproic acid'.
An aminohexanoic acid is an amino derivative of a hexanoic acid, especially 6-aminohexanoic acid which is an antifibrinolytic agent.

An allysine is an amino acid, 2-amino-6-oxo-hexanoic acid, derived from lysine.
The question should be: Is ethanoic acid is more soluble than hexanoic acid in water?Yes because it has less carbons. Ethanoic (Acetic) Acid is fully miscible.
There is no difference between lead acid accumulator and lead acid battery.
The difference between a hydrocarbon and a fatty acid is that a fatty acid is a hydrocarbon chain with a carboxylic acid head.
They both have 6 carbons
Such compounds are Fatty acids (long chain monocarboxylic acids)
Alcohol fermentation and lactic acid fermentation are similar because glucose is oxidized to two molecules of pyruvic acid. The difference between them is that alcohol fermentation yield two molecules of ATP also.
