halo3 odst is an expansion of halo3 the only big difference is that you no longer play as a Spartan you play as an odst.

∙ 13y agoHalo 3 has custom games, matchmaking and spartans, ODST has firefight, no matchmaking, and ODSTS. Plus, not all of the weapons Halo 3 had.
