HDL is a "good" cholesterol chemical which carries cholesterol plaque away from the body arteries. It also Transports it to the liver so it can pass out of the body. LDL are bad because they carry cholesterol from the liver around the body which could cause a build up of plaque, this could eventually weaken the arteries and cause it to burst but then a blood clot forms, which causes different thrombosis diseases.
HDL, which is good, and LDL, which is bad, are related to cholesterol. It shows the sources of it. http://www.ask.com/web?q=What+is+the+difference+between+HDL+and+LDL%3F&search=&qsrc=0&o=0&l=dir
Human cholesterol consists of lipoproteins, which can either be low-density or high density in form. Low-density lipoproteins are the "Bad" cholesterol, which can build up in the heart along the arteries while high-density lipoproteins are the "Good" cholesterol
The difference is that HDL is a good blood type and LDL is a bad blood type
LDL and HDL both refer to cholesterol. The difference is that LDL is known and the "bad" cholesterol and "HDL" is known as the good" cholesterol. One may learn more about cholesterol at WebMD.
HDL= Good Cholesterol, LDL = Bad Cholesterol
HDL is high density lipoprotein , Whilst LDL is low density lipoprotein .
what the normol hsl and ldl?
You want your HDL (good) to be higher and your LDL (bad) to be lower.
Yes. It is correct to say that the LDL HDL ratio of 3.22 is okay.
Cholesterol is cholesterol. HDL and LDL are lipoproteinswhichtransport the hydrophobic substance "cholesterol" in the blood stream.Beef liver contains cholesterol.
OK so LDL is low density lipoprotein and HDL is high density lipoprotein. LDL is considered to be a bad cholesterol and HDL, a good colesterol. there is more on this topic here : http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=180
LDL and HDL
LDL cholesterol levels are the calculation of bad levels in your body while HDL is considered to by the levels of good cholesterol in your body. Good cholesterol ratings can be maintained with proper exercise and diet.
LDL and HDL
The function of HDL in the human body is to transport cholesterol for excretion to the liver. The function of LDL is to transport cholesterol to the liver for use.
