Nitride means combined with nitrogen alone eg Li3N. Nitrate means combined with NO3 eg LiNO3
Lithium nitride (Li3N) is an inorganic compound used in the production of ceramics and as a hydrogen storage material. Lithium nitrate (LiNO3) is a salt commonly used in pyrotechnics, as a fertilizer additive, and in the manufacture of different types of glass and ceramics. The main difference between the two is their chemical composition and properties.
Li3P is an unstable compound. It would be named lithium phosphide, or if using the prefix notation, it would be called trilithium phosphide.
Lithium Nitride
Nitrate ion (NO3-) is a polyatomic ion composed of one nitrogen atom and three oxygen atoms, carrying a -1 charge. Nitride ion (N3-) is a monoatomic ion composed of three nitrogen atoms with a -3 charge. Nitrate ion is commonly found in nitrates salts like potassium nitrate, while nitride ion is typically found in ionic compounds with metals.
The chemical name for LiN is lithium nitride.
Li3N is lithium nitride
Li3N would be lithium nitride. LiNO3 would be lithium nitrate. LiN3 does not exist.

ammonium nitride is a water soluble solid. it is formed (or so Ive read) by the double displacement reaction between lithium nitride and ammonium nitrate, leaving lithium nitrate and ammonium nitride. it is highly unstable and will explode violently if heated vigorously but can be made to decompose slowly if gently heated to around 100 degrees, for that reason i am guessing it would be safer to boil a dilute solution of the compound, but this may still be dangerous.
6 Li + N2 --> 2 Li3N , lithium nitride
0,25 moles lithium nitride are obtained.
Li+1 NO2-1
The chemical reaction for the formation of potassium nitride is: 6K + N2 -> 2K3N
Lithium Nitride
Li3N is lithium nitride
The balanced chemical equation is 6Li + N2 -> 2Li3N. This means 6 moles of lithium react with 1 mole of nitrogen to produce 2 moles of lithium nitride. Therefore, 1.450 moles of lithium will produce 0.483 moles of lithium nitride.
Li3N; the lithium ion has a charge of +1 (Li+) while the nitride ion has a charge of -3 (N3-)
