Nuwave uses a sheath heater while Flavorwave uses a halogen lamp. That is the basic difference. Both the heater and the lamp are used for crisping or browning. With the lamp you get more heat and you also get the heavy glass bowl. It is also less safe around naughty children or pets. With the heater you get less heat, and a light-weight plastic cover. Although you cannot watch your food cook quite as clearly without the lamp. The lamp can burn out and the plastic cover can crack in half. I am not sure which one lasts longer, since a lot depend on the usage. With Nuwave you clean the bottom tray and with Flavorwave you wash the bowl. And that is about as much as I can say on this topic.
Nu Flavor was created in 1994.

NU Wave Owen or NU Wave Oven? The former is assumed to be spelled incorrectly, so the latter will be used. The NU Wave Oven is an "As Seen on TV" product promotion showing people a faster and easier way to prepare and cook food quickly from frozen state to "meal" state in a short amount of time, with less mess and fuss. It is an infrared oven that cooks quickly. Various reviews have been given on the product from websites like Amazon. The oven can also be checked out at the company's own website.

E is generally taken to be the elastic constant known as Young's modulus which describes the relationship between axial stress and axial strain where Hooke's law still applies (i.e. linear elasticity). Nu is Poisson's ratio which is the relationship between axial strain and radial or transverse strain. For more information, please see the related link.
In chemistry, the symbol nu (ν) is often used to represent the frequency of a wave or vibration. It is commonly seen in spectroscopy to describe the frequency of light absorbed or emitted by atoms or molecules.
