Point Source contamination comes from one direct source, such as a factory. (Thus the "point"). A Non-Point Source comes from a variety of sources in two categories: Fugitive or Mobile. Fugitive Non-point pollution includes things like dirt roads, farmland-plowing, surface mines, construction sites... while Mobile Non-point Pollution comes from thousands of cars in the city, trains, airplanes/jets etc. it's non-point source since there are many different ones.
the difference between pollution and waste is waste that is of no use to any one and pollution is that is because of we durting that particular spot where the pollution is done
smog is the result of pollution

contamination is when germs enter the water and pollution of water is when liquid waste or rubbish are thrown in the water.
60 years ago you could generally tell the difference between a sunrise (which appeared more golden) and sunset (which appeared more red after a day of pollution from cars and industry.) Now the pollution has worsened so you really can't tell the difference between sunrise and sunset. EZ
Yes, there is a difference between litter and pollution. Litter refers to the careless disposal of waste materials in public areas, such as streets, parks, or beaches. Pollution, on the other hand, refers to the contamination of natural resources like air, water, or soil by harmful substances, which can have widespread negative effects on the environment and human health. While litter can contribute to pollution if it is not properly managed, pollution is a broader issue that encompasses various sources and types of harmful substances in the environment.

non-point pollution is pollution that has no specific source or place of where it came fromex. runoff of gasoline from cars off the roadpoint pollution is pollution that hsd s specific source or place of where it came fromex. an oil factory spills into the sea

My teachers in the University told me that the difference between these two concepts deals with the environment's capability to "absorve" or "support" an agent. In the case of contamination it could be support by the environment without stoping the general chemical cycles and life cycles. We use pollution refering to those agents or activities that produce highly damage in the environment and damage the entire ecosystem drastically.
