Essentially the war was fought between King and Parliament.The two sides that fought in the civil war,there names are as followed or nicknames for them are roundheads and cavileres.And parliament was roundheads and cavileres were the Kings men and nobles.that is right

The roundheads won because they had smart ideas where as the cavaliers they didnt have any smart ideas. The roundheads had decent fighting gear but the cavaliers had loads but still didnt win.

Some differences between round heads and cavaliers are that roundheads made people captain if they were good at gatting everyone's attention and good at organization skills, unlike the cavaliers that made you a captain if you had lots of money. Also roundheads had better armour than cavaliers so they had a better chance of surviving.
