What is the different between freshwater fish food and saltwater fish food?

Not a whole lot. reading the labels and content you will find a little bit more protein in the SW food as opposed to the FW food. Fat content and Potash may vary as well. The SW foods tend to have more ocean type ingredients... krill, mysis shrimp... etc.

∙ 14y agoThe main difference is in the species of fish caught and the bait used to do so. Then there is the extra corrosion caused to fishing gear if it is not properly cleaned after use to remove the salt. In most other things it boils down to dangling a line in the water with a baited hook on the end and waiting for a fish to come and bite it. This is the same process in fresh water and in sea water.
