What is the difference between sims and sims 2?

Thats true but the difference is that The Sims is the first game and the Sims 2 is the second, and the fact that in the Sims, you could not have cars, get married, or become pregnant. You could have a baby but with no cycle a random baby would just appear. Also, you can choose any face with any hair, and change it later, as well as wearing makeup and jewlery. the sims 2 is different from sims cuz sims 2 has better graphics (3D), more options to do things with, more customizing in the create a sims mode and so on and so forth. but sims is only 2D and does not have as much customizing stuff.
