Sims 2 has better graphics and gameplay options than the original Sims.
Thats true but the difference is that The Sims is the first game and the Sims 2 is the second, and the fact that in the Sims, you could not have cars, get married, or become pregnant. You could have a baby but with no cycle a random baby would just appear. Also, you can choose any face with any hair, and change it later, as well as wearing makeup and jewlery. Hope this was helpful (:
the sims 2 is different from sims cuz sims 2 has better graphics (3D), more options to do things with, more customizing in the create a sims mode and so on and so forth. but sims is only 2D and does not have as much customizing stuff.
Sims 2 Castaway deals with shipwrecked sims while Sims 2 just deals with sims day to day.
The sims 2 Delux is The sims 2 + Nightlife. The sims 2 Double Delux is The sims 2 + Nightlife + Celebration stuff pack.Hope this helps !
sims 2 deluxe is 2 in one - sims 2 and nightlife, sims 2 is just one in one - sims 2 -the base game Sims 2 Deluxe has Night Life already in it.

The Sims 2 refers to the game as a whole, whereas The Sims 2 Base Guys refers to only the Sims 2, without any expansion packs or other additional stuff.
the PLATINUM means its is proved to be a good selling game

Yes. In sims 3 pets you can have a horse or hamster as a pet along with dogs and cats
The Sims 3 Nightlife does not exist. The Sims 3 Late Night is like the Sims 2 Nightlife expansion pack, but for the Sims 3.
Hacks take out all the fun, cheats enhance it. =]
The only difference is that 1 is for PS3 and the other is for the computer.
The difference is the Holiday edition is the game itself and the holiday stuff is just stuff for celebrating holidays. (ex. Christmas tree)
