Can clavamox treat a Sinus Infection?

Yes. I have had it prescribed to me twice by ER doctors. Once for a sinus infection which worked within 24 hours . ( first one I've ever had and hope to god I don't have another sinus infection ) the second time for strep throat and two ear infections at the same time. Throat is doing better after 2 days and ears no longer hurt but still have minimal hearing from both ears. On the plus side my ears are itching inside which usually mean I will get my hearing back soon.

Can strep get into your sinus passages?

Yes, you could get a staph infection just about anywhere, but if you think you have one you should talk to your doctor immediately. Infact one of the worst conditions to have is MRSA(methicillin resistant stapholococcus aureus) which tends to plant itself in the sinuses. If you are afraid of catching this nosocomial(means originates from hospitals) then you should use very good hygiene especially around other people.
