Spanish and French are similar and different. They are both located on the Italic branch on the Indo-European language tree. They are both based off of the Roman alpabet, too. There is one major difference between the languages; pronounciation. In Spanish, you pronounce every letter exept "h", but in French you don't pronounce a lot of letters.

Ex: comma ci, comma ca is French. It means so-so. It is pronounced com see, com sa

Asi-asi is Spanish. It also means so-so. It is pronounced ah see ah see, like it is spelt.

Additionally, Spanish is spoken in more countries worldwide than French.
