∙ 13y agoFirst point of view is when "you" are talking. For example, if you were saying "I kicked the ball," that would be first point of view, because you yourself are talking. Second point of view is when a narrator is telling the story using "you" as their main character. They are putting you in the story. For example, "You are standing on the cliff, overlooking the ocean," is second person narrative. Third person point of view is when a narrator is telling a story about 'he or she'. For example, "He was walking home from school when he heard the unmistakable sound of thunder," is third person narrative.
