    1. A typical micrometer screw gauge has a maximum accuracy of ±0.005 mm (0.01 mm readings) whereas a vernier caliper has a typical maximum accuracy of ±0.05 mm (0.1 mm readings). Of course, different versions might have better or worse accuracy. They are also used differently because of their different shapes and forms.

An isotropic material has properties which are independent of the direction in which they are measured whereas in an anisotropic material the properties do depend on the direction .

How do you tell the difference between 7mm mauser and 8mm mauser?

The 7mm is a smaller cartridge. If your rifle is not marked with the caliber, have it examined by a gunsmith. They may make a casting of the chamber using a material called Cerro-Safe. The casting is measured with a micrometer to determine exactly which cartridge it is chambered for.

What does a micrometer looks like and how is it used?

Micrometer is a measuring device. And the measurement accuracy is 0.01 mm. Object to be measured between the left jaw and screw it shut, and the size of the cache line read.

'Force' isn't measured in volts. Potential and potential difference are measured in volts.

What is the difference between Screw Gauge and Vernier Caliper?

*Micrometer have a rotary handle and whereas vernier have a slider. *Micrometer is for measuring diameters while vernier is for measuring inside & outside diameter as well as depth. *Least Count of Vernier Caliper is 0.02mm *Least Count of Micrometer is 0.01mm
