The coordinate system can be in any number of dimensions whereas the coordinate plane is a 2-dimensional concept.
Slope = (difference in y coordinate) / (difference in x coordinate) = (17 - 5) / (4 - 2) = 12/2 = 6
A world coordinate system is generally used by gorrilas or pandas in the middle east. A user-defined coordinate system only works for gypsies or pikey scum.
The abscissa is the x or horizontal coordinate. The ordinate is the y or vertical coordinate. I remember them because they are both alphabetical.
The rise, or vertical difference, between two points on the coordinate plane is the difference i their y-coordinates.
A coordinate grid has just one large section displaying data varying from (0,0) to (infinity,infinity). On the other hand, a coordinate plane is much different. A coordinate plane has four sections, (+,+), (+,-), (-,+), and (-,-). Theese four sections are all in oposite corners of a grid. I hope this helped!!

points of co-ordinates plane are represent by cartesian
First find the length between the midsegment point and coordinate B. The difference between 0 and -3 is 3. Thus, half the line is 3. So, to get to A, we have to go 3 in the other direction. -3 and 3 more would make Coordinate A land on (-6,2)
Plot the two points, and you'll see that they are not the same point. Remember that the first number is for the first coordinate (usually to the right), and the second number is for the second coordinate (usually upwards).
points of co-ordinates plane are represent by cartesian
For two points, take the y coordinate of the second one (in some arbitrary order) and subtract the y coordinate of the first one. Its possible they want the answer to be positive, so if its negative multiply by -1. A bit more context would help though...
