The flame retardant fabric can be divided in to disposable, washable and permanent flame resistant fabric.
Disposable flame retardant fabric and washable flame resistant fabric are added some chemical composition, the generated gases from burning fabric can separate the fire area from oxygen to extinguish the fire. The permanent flame retardant fabric itself has flame retardant property.
Washable flame retardant fabric and permanent flame resistant fabric are mainly used for garment, and disposable flame retardant fabric usually used in decoration, curtains and cushions etc. The initial flame retardant property of these three fabric are not much difference, just the flame retardant property of washable flame resistant fabric would be reduced after 50-100 washing times, the disposable flame resistant fabric disappeared completely, and permanent flame resistant fabric.
Raw material flame retardant fabric congenital flame retardant, do not need to add the day after tomorrow, expensive, and more for scientific research, military fields, are high-grade fabrics.
