Where = asking a question to find something, e.g.:

Where would I find a taxi in this town?

Where did you put my glasses?

~

Were = the past tense of "are", e.g.:

They were sick and could not work.

You were in town when your father telephoned.

~

We're = abbreviation of "we are", e.g.:

We're are going to see a movie.

We're going over to our friend's house.
