The difference between orbit and rotation is:
to orbit is to go around celestial objects (celestial objects means any object in space such as satelittes, other planets et cetera)
Now to rotate is to spin around. I.E. the Earth takes 365 days to make one full rotation!
yes
The word is "revolve" or "orbit", not "rotate". It takes Eris 560 years to orbit the Sun once.
orbit
Actually,as the planet Revolve and Rotate the path is an orbit....^_^
well they rotate on their axis as they orbit the sun
sigma bond is rotate along internuclear axis
The Earth orbits in the plane of the ecliptic in an ellipsoidal orbit that is nearly circular. Comets orbits are highly elliptical and mostly out of the plane of the ecliptic.
rotate
The sun rotates.
The Sun is very hot it is a ball of gas giving out hot fire, planets are not that hot.The Sun does not orbit anything, where as planets orbit the Sun.
It does both. It orbits the sun and rotates on its axis.
its the gravitational pull from he sun.
