Both are heavily built, stocky cats. The tiger is much larger, and has a striped coat, while the jaguar has spots or in some cases, a black coat. Both love the water, and are the only big cats that readily take to it.

As far as I've read a hybrid between a Leopard and a Tiger is called a Dogla. Leopard and Jaguar are two different big cats, don't know what a cross between a Jaguar and Tiger is called, or a Jaguar and a Leopard for that matter. Hope this helps. There have been no reported true hybrids of a leopard and tiger. Sometimes Ligers can keep their spots from childhood, causing a spotted/stripped look.
Tiger wins. The tiger is the largest cat, and would have a weight advantage of at least 250 to 300 pounds over the jaguar.
Jaguar is a big cat but not a tiger. So the question is wrong.
Yes, the jaguar is in the same genus as the lion, tiger, leopard and snow leopard.
Jaguar
Tigers are much larger, and are striped, while jaguars are spotted. Tigers are Asian animals, jaguars are from the Americas.

No. A Jaguar is a large animal but a tiger is usually bigger than a jaguar. Hence the tiger would be able to defend itself.
Tiger , lion , leapord , cheetah , jaguar
Well yeh, the lion/tiger is slightly bigger than the jaguar, there has been records of fights between the jaguar and a lion and jaguar has been the winner, so maybe a tiger, but other than that not really any, as also lions have been recorded to win tigers soo, depends on male/female size/age.
