Mud minnows. You can catch them off your dock and they are very hardy. You can also try blue crabs and stone crabs. THey eat shrimp, but don't put those two crabs together
any pet to keep is a huge responsibility but if you want your first pet u should get a fish
Pet stores with saltwater fish sections.
the answer depends on the fish species. if you didn't get the fish at a pet store, and found the fish in the ocean, keep it in saltwater. if not, use freshwater.
a dog is the third easiest pet if your not counting other rodents :)
The damsel (any type) is the easiest marine fish to care for. The brittle starfish is the easiest marine critter.
I use to own a fish only pet store. The saltwater tanks were a nightmare, constant testing, etc. I would recommend you go to a Pet Shop that has salt water fish, preferrably a one owner store. Make sure the saltwater tanks look good to you, clear water, healthy fish and then ask the owner your questions.
To humans no. To other fish in the tank, if you are thinking of having one, they can be. They are very territorial, and if stressed or if they die they can release a toxin into the water that will kill other fish. Although they are slow, if they catch their prey they will kill it. It is not the easiest of pet to keep.
Pet stores can sell a variety of freshwater and saltwater fish species, including popular ones like bettas, guppies, neon tetras, goldfish, and clownfish. These fish are generally suitable for beginners and are commonly found in pet stores due to their popularity and ease of care.
...probably not the best idea to keep an endangered animal as a pet. (; (they are quite large as well)
if you mean best as in easiest to care for, you should get a fish, or a turtle. in my opinion though, dogs are the best.
depends how big if it is less than a gallon nothing but some shrimp and some java moss. if its a 1/2 gall or larger than a betta might work.
Live rock can be seen at zoos in their saltwater aquarium displays, at pet stores that sell saltwater fish and in naturally occurring coral reefs. Live rock is sold as a natural way to preserve the eco-system of a saltwater tank.
