If you are asking this question in relation to a networked laser printer this seems to be an issue with either a corrupt driver or a network error. I have sorted mine out by simply downloading the updated driver from the printer manufacturer's website.
Follow the instructions given with your printer. If you lost them ask a friend for assistance, or have someone else change the ink for you. You might be able to find a tutorial on Youtube for your exact model of printer.
