What is the education system like in Croatia?

there are 8 years of primary school and after that 3 or 4 years of middle school (3 years if you choose a profession like salesman, mechanic, florist...) and 4 years if you choose gymnasium or something like civil engineering or electric engineering.

after that you can go to university, which lasts mostly 5 years (3+2).

you can also go to university with a 3 year school, but then you don't get a high degree as with 4 years and it's easier.

school in Croatia is hard. we learn a lot and fast. we learn a lot of unnecessary things, like lots of names and years in history and everything (i still remember the long name of an ancient lord from asyrrian empire, but don't know what he did

the grades are from 1-5 (5 is the best, 1 is the worst)
