The effect of having a broken family, isn't much to tell you the truth. I my self is from a broken family, my own mom kicked me out when i was 14. shipped me off and now i can honestly say the broken family part is nothing as much of the hate i feel for my my mother. it causes anger at the one who broke the family the only thing you can do to help the anger is to get counseled.

  • Children just see their parents as mom and dad and the thought of them divorcing (unless the marriage is abusive) terrifies most children and some adult children. Younger children often feel they have done something wrong to cause the break up of their parents. Once the parents separate or divorce the custody can be very difficult for the children as their loyalties are torn between their mother and father. Eventually one or both parents may find another partner and children keep hoping that their parents will get back together again and when another person enters their mother or father's lives the children are often not receptive of the new person and often will retaliate against them or some children will get into trouble at school; others may run away from home.

it usually does because it forces the kids to constantly be choosing between the two parents and if one of the parents aren't involved it always leaves the kid with unanswered questions.
