There are 2 effects I can think of.
One is the production process which can be unfriendly to the environment (energy consumption for example).
The other one would be that drugs that have expired and then are thrown to the garbage end up in landfills and the chemicals are then exposed while polluting the environment.

∙ 13y agothousands of teenagers are taking a high amount of different drugs causing there brain cells to "fry", teenagers and some adults don't understand what it is doing to there brains, for example paranoia affects people quite alot especially if you start at a young age and have been taking it on a long term basis.
