At the end of Gears of War 2, Marcus and Dom enter the Locust hollow on the back of a Brumack. After a large "slaughter" of fleeing Locust, the two drive the Brumack into a pool of imulsion to destroy 3 pillars. These pillars hold up a section of Jacinto and the collapse of these allows some King Raven helicopters to enter the hollow to evac Marcus and Dom and to destroy the rest of Jacinto with a light mass bomb as suggested by Adam Phoenix, Marcus' father. This would flood the hollow and kill the Locust for good. The Raven with the bomb is shot down and the Brumack goes Lambant just as Marcus and Dom get off. They realize that the Brumack is a bomb and destroy it with the Hammer of Dawn and sink Jacinto. At the end all of delta squad (minus Carmine) leave in Ravens and watch the city burn and sink. Lastly after the credits, Adam Phoenix is heard asking "What have you done?!!".
You hear a message from Adam Fenix saying, "This is Adam Fenix... Is anyone out there...? Can you hear me...? This is Adam Fenix... Can you hear me...? What have you done...?" What happens at the end of Dead Rising 2 is based on what you have done while playing it, so there are many ways how it can end.
When you beat Dead Rising 2 you get extra PP but that is also based on how you did.
Say that you couldn't afford and Zombrex or find any for Katey, your
story would stop and you would on be able to do Psychopaths and find survivors, so your story end would be affected and how much PP you earn.
If you have done every ship upgrade and have all of the loyalties of your squad members, then at the very end you destroy the collectors and end up having to run out of the collector ship before it explodes. Shepard is the last to jump, and if you did everything correctly he should make. Then as they head back they discover that a massive armada of reapers, are on their way to destroy the galaxy, and as Shepard looks out the window he sees this massive armada and then the game ends.
MiantCub: Well, it shows the credits, then you can go back and cover any side missions you might have missed. There's also some DLC that add to it.
!! SPOILER!!
Just a warning to all players who have not completed Gears of war 3. If so, do not look at this answer anymore.
Ok, now for the answer.
The way that Gears of War 3 ends is basically like any other game, big boss, killing big boss and ending. You will be battling you nemesis Queen Myrrah. She will be on a huge flying bug. You will see how to kill her on the game. The objective is to stop and kill Queen Myrrah from damaging a machine which will kill all locust's and Lambents (even lambents inside humans).
After when you killed her, you will find that Marcus's dad will die also because the lambent poison has infected him to much, basically the machine will kill him like all other Locust's.
After all this and that, Marcus sits down, takes his hat off (for the first time) and Boom! Done!
