The fastest way (I think) would be to clear Classic mode on Hard with Link or Zelda. If you don't suck, you should be able to eventually do it. The other options are doing 200 Brawls or getting him to join you in the Subspace Emissary. 200 may take a while if you're doing it from the start, and if you try the Subspace Emissary route, you get him near the end of it.
