There is no such animal. The only U.S. coins to be struck in steel were the famous 1943 "war cents". Steel was used because copper was needed to make ammunition. The coins were coated with zinc to prevent rust. Unfortunately the coins didn't work out in general circulation - when new, they looked like dimes and many people were confused; when they started to wear the zinc turned grayish-black, leading to the (false) rumor that the coins were made of lead; and finally when the zinc wore through, the underlying steel rusted.
