Haiti is a mixed nation and is very diverse. It is home to people of all races. About 70% of the population is of mixed race heritage. Haitians are generally a mix of African, French and Taino ancestry. There is a sizeable white/mulatto minority. There are peoples of French, German, Lebanese, Syrian, Spanish, Armenian, Italian, Swiss, Polish, East Indian, Asian and even Jewish heritage. Hispanic descendents(mostly Cuban and Dominican) inhabit the island as well.

80-85% are purely of or mostly African descended. The remaining 15-20% is mostly of mixed race heritage. Some Haitians may have Danish, Polish, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Armenian or Jewish ancestry. Others may have Arab ancestry(primarily Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian ancestry). A small but significant population possess East Asian (primarily Chinese, but some may also have Filipino, Japanese, Korean or Vietnamese ancestry) as well as East Indian ancestry.

90 % black ( although some of them are mixed)

10% white , mulattoes etc....
