Existence means that something is, such as you know you exist because, you see, feel, breathe, and interact with others that exist. People whom profess agnosticism, also exist. Therefore, agnosticism exist.
Agnostics are people who are unsure about the existence of God. They neither believe nor disbelieve in the existence of a higher power.
There is not really a history of agnostics. Agnosticism is a Greek word meaning "without knowledge". Agnostics do not feel like there is enough evidence, one way or another, to prove or disprove the existence of a god and other supernatural phenomena. There have been agnostic views for as long as atheistic views, and religious beliefs have been around.
Agnostic or atheist. Atheists state that there is no God, agnostics state that the existence of God cannot be known.
Agnosticism is not considered to be a religion. Agnostics, by definition, are unsure about the existence of God (or any other diety for that matter), and therefore wouldn't worship him.
Agnostics by their nature dont believe in anything as they feel they are not equiped to understand reality./
Atheism is the lack of belief in a god or gods, while agnosticism is the belief that the existence of a god or gods is unknown or unknowable. Atheists assert that there is no evidence for the existence of a deity, whereas agnostics question whether such evidence could ever be found.
there is no evidence that proves or disproves the existence of god, so asserting that a god or gods exist or don't exist is a waste of time due to a lack of evidence for both sides.
An agnostic is someone who doesn't believe that the existence of God can be proven or disproven. People can have differing beliefs and not be enemies. People of both brands must respect the other as fellow humans. It is also interesting to point out that many Catholics are agnostics; the positions are not mutually exclusive, so it does not make sense to call them enemies or even opposing views.
Undoubtedly there would be atheists and agnostics who criticise the Theory of Evolution. Atheism and agnosticism are views on the non-existence of God(s), while evolution is concerned with biology, a branch of science. So, there is no necessary correlation between a person's understanding of the supernatural and his or her understanding of science.
Agnostics do not believe anything about God. Agnostics do not believe in any type of religion.
God can't be seen, measured, weighed, smelled, felt or in any way sampled. All proofs of God's existence are either hearsay, or inferred proofs as in "this world has to have been made by someone"
There is no recognized 'leader' for agnostics. However, a fair number agnostics are also interested in secular reasoning and philosophy, so many of the great philosophers of the ages (Socrates, Hume, Kant, Descartes) are read and debated by some agnostics. There are also a number of vocal agnostics/atheists who are in the public limelight a great deal, including Richard Dawkins.
