You go far northwest and the bird will be flying up and down and landing on a tree for a while and flying back up.
An Albatross - is a large sea-bird, that spends most of its life flying.
I'm pretty sure that 'the bird of the sea' is a nickname for not a bird, but the Flying Fish.
It relly depends on the bird's personality and how much flying excersise it has had.

A wide winged sea bird? As in any wide winged sea bird? I'd say an albatross. :)
Many can be seen far out to sea; perhaps one of the more common would be the albatross.
