Recategorizing and Editing questions is the fastest way to make contributions to WikiAnswers, but all contributions are valued. We do not encourage contributors to contribute for the sole reason of getting contribution points - do what you enjoy!

Yes you can. Whenever you ask a question as a member it becomes part of your contributions history. An easy way to find it is to sort your contributions by questions asked. Then just find your question and click on it. Then answer it. Everyone can do this, but others can also contribute to your answer after you enter it.
