Here is a plan to make a lot of money on Howrse in a short space of time.
Do lessons every single day (15 - 24e per lesson)
Put MA on at 3 years to save aging points and age more easily
Sell 5 aging points per day (will bring you 750e each time!)
Keep your turnips, but collect all apples, vaccines, and other saleable ufo's and sell your collection at the end of each day (5 - 100e this way)
Sell all droppings to the store (3e each)
Train your horse well and if it is a male throw out a few covering offers at 200e each - More than likely they won't get looked at but it's worth a shot
Do as many competitions as possible with your horse (6 - 50e per race depending on placing)
Once the horse is past 25, do 2 lessons per day but do not pasture or compete. Instead, vaccinate and give preventative wormer, and feed required amount from the box.
At 29 years, 10 months (or slightly before if you prefer), put in private sales as a 'Pass horse'. Check the current prices first, but usually 35,000 - 50,000e is acceptable.
By now you'll probably have around 25,000e. Now try to bag a bargain oldie in the auctions - you can sometimes pick up a horse over 15 years with MA for under 3000e - age it, and sell yourself yet another 'Pass horse', and so on.
If you don't have passes you can still make yourself a packet by saving up and selling all your droppings, saleable ufo's, and aging points. Bagging a bargain oldie with MA from the auctions also applies.

There isn't really a "quick way" to make money on HorseIsle. But there are numerous ways to earn money. I'll share a few below.
A good way to earn money is to do quests. There are numerous quests to do (500+). I have attached a link to a blog with 30 or more quests that you can do. I (the owner) add quests regularly. Quests will not only pay you good amounts of money (or items that you can sell for a good amount), but they also reward you with quest points. When you've reached 25%, 50%, 75% and 100& Quest Points, you can go to special isles! Such as Lava Isle, Pirate Isle, Cloud Isle, Serenity Isle, Drill isle and more!
On Pirate Isle (which you can get to when you have achieved 50% Quest Points), you can mine for gems, including diamonds. That is most likely faster than some quests, but may not pay as well as some. I earned 2.3k from simply selling 50 gold ore, which I got for free from mining. I mined four diamonds, sold them for 19k. I suggest selling your mined items at Rock Isle's rock shop.
Making necklaces is an amazing way to earn money. You will need various gems, and chains (which you may craft). Crafting a necklace may cost a maximum of about $800, but you can sell them for even more. Selling 50 Diamond Necklaces will earn you almost $1 million.
If you have a ranch, windmills will help. A windmill costs $120,000. A windmill pays the owner $1,000 per game day. So in 120 game days, the windmill will pay itself off. Windmills are not my top suggestion, but I have heard good reviews from people who do have them.
You can also buy HorseIsle money with your real money. You can get $10,000 HorseIsle dollars per 10 real dollars.
If you have a horse (or more than one) that you do not want, you can sell it. Horses normally go for at least $10,000 depending on the quality and stats.
You can also go gem hunting on beaches. Some isles are jam packed with gems. If you go to Rock Isle with a good amount of gems to sell, you will earn a very large amount of money.
The bank will play a big part in earning money. You earn 0.03% interest per real hour. If you visit frequently, interest won't build up. That is not good! An important thing to do is make sure you have enough money on hand to travel, buy food, etc. If you are going to have a "bank break" as I call it (not visiting the bank for a few days), I suggest putting the majority of your money in the bank, and keeping $15,000 on hand.
An important thing to know is that begging for money, horses, tack, anything along those lines is against the rules. You could get a violation point, or get in trouble, for begging. Spamming is one thing that will not improve your chances of earning money. Using ads chat when selling or buying something will be good for your cause, but NOT using ads chat will make it extremely harder.
Save. Don't waste your money on useless things. You don't really need that horse, you don't really need that extra barn, etc. Use your money wisely and never spend too much!
Put your money in your bank. Horse Isle has a system where you gain interest for the money in your bank. Basically, the more money in the bank, the more interest you get. The interest rate is 0.0003% and you get your money at the start of the new real life hour. Always keep a maximum of around 5k on hand to soften the blows of money-stealing special events!
Do quests! Doing quests for NPCs is by the far the best way to make money. Most are easy and give at least a couple of k. You also get bonuses when you achieve new rewards. Work hard on your quests and save, and you'll have plenty of money in no time!
Get windmills. Windmills are a ranch benefit only. Every windmill gives you $500 per hour. Doesn't seem much at first, right? But if you have 8 windmills on your ranch, you'd be earning $4,000 per hour! Without doing anything. Windmills are a big money booster at the beginning, so always get as many of them as you can!
Buy and Sell Horses. Buy low, sell higher, make a profit. Try buying cheap horses from other players or from the auction blocks and sell them for a higher price. If your horse has a ton of exp. and great stats/UTs, you could make plenty of money.
Sell certain items to NPCs. See 'NPC Traders' on the navigation bar for more information. These items are easy to find and you can just pick them up while you happen to come across them.
Exp./stat train for others. Reliable, trustworthy, and fast exp./stat trainers are always in high demand. Some players can pay a huge amount for excellent exp./stat trainers and it's a great profit at the expense of your time.
Collect items and sell them. There are tons of valuable things that you can find on the ground that sell for plenty of money. For example, Giant Coconuts (Pirate), Silver Linings (Cloud), Red Pine Cones (give to Twig in forest above the town of Earton, Diamonds (Desert), and Obsidian Chunks (Lava). The best place to sell general items is the Treeton General Store.
Collect Wishing Well Coins. Wishing Well Coins are commonly found on the grass. Just bring them to a Wishing Well and you can earn $100 - $650 EACH by wishing only for money. Nice way to get some extra money.
Play Minigames. There are tons of Minigames around Horse Isle and they are all very easy to play. You also get a bonus if you beat the High Score.

There are many ways to make money. But you have to be able to balance what you spend and what you keep.
You can make money by:
- Doing quests : this gets you money and quest points
- Buy a rake and make bales of hay : you can then sell this to other players or the feed shop
- Have money in the bank : you will get intrest depending on what you have in there
- Pick up any food items, flowers and gems that you see on the ground : then sell them to their respective shops (you'll get a bit more normally)
There are also many more ways - be creative and have fun.
When You Win a Race you get 10,000 coins,
so train your horse halfway through the next level (if your horse is on level 2 train half way to level 3) and race him/her you have more of a chance of winning and when your horse is leveled it is worth more as well :)
every 5 levels your horse gains it gets 1 talent point the more talent points your horse has the more it is worth so that gets you money as well :) hope this helps :)
Once you get $20,000, go to the Big Red Barn on most main Isle's. Then you can compete.
I really hope this helps.
The quest that gives you the most money in HorseIsle is Grey Slate's Gaudy Crown. It can give up to 50,000 points.
about 250-350k
You can't really get free horseisle money, but it rarely happens, because you can. Special events occur every now and then and they can get you to lose money, and even make some. You can also get companions and other things aswell. ~OwlCityFireflies~ Grey Server
His staff is near the "money eating plants".
You have to train it at a trainer. You can find their houses near a stable in big islands.
For money: * gem hunt, then make neckalaces * Never take money out the bank, always put it in
The quest that gives you the most money, 50k, is grey slates gaudy crown.
