DO NOT under any circumstance give these people your information, although in most cases, such as ours they already had it. Contact the credit bureaus immediately and have a "fraud alert" placed upon your credit file, there eliminating anyone from being able to open any accounts or anything using your personal information.
Also contact the Federal Trade Commission and The US Secret Service, as they handle electronic fraud, which is where this is coming from.
Also the Better Business Bureau just released a statement about this exact company and Scam using "Ronny or Ronnie Brown" and "Martin Brown" as their names which are obvious false names.
Here is ONE of the MANY links to the BBB's alert about this scam.

STOP APPLYING FOR LOANS ONLINE! It's common sense people.
Defaulting on a payday loan does not, in and of itself, constitute check fraud.
no,its fraud by mis -representation
i would like to know thw same thing because i have a payday loan and they are callin my job and telling my boss i have had check fraud
Yes, in the United States, check fraud is a federal offense. This goes for both wire fraud and mail fraud.
Is payroll fraud a federal offense
Only if fraud is involved.
Can I be charged with bank fraud or any other criminal offense for closing an account on a payday loan?
OK, what is your question?
No. They are breaking the law if they're telling you they can. A judge issues warrants, not a payday lender. Payday loans are civil matters, not criminal. At most, they could sue you in court civilly for defaulting on a loan. Some states have made payday lending illegal. Check with your attorney generals office or financial regulator for more state specific info. Payday lenders love trying to scare the unknowing into paying them. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) is a federal law that governs collections. You can find it online.
Not usually, however if you use an unregulated provider then they may be able to. My advice would be to use a well known and respected comparison site such as Payday Provider.
that would be a federal offense
BOTH federal and state.
