I'm not 100% sure about the 5th generation Civics ('92-'95) but my 6th generation Civic has a firing order of 1-3-4-2. The no. 1 cylinder is at the belt end (driver's side). that's about the only workable firing order for a 4 cylinder.

The 5.0 firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 The 5.8 firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 Rotor turns counterclockwise on both engines. You should not use the 5.8 firing order on a standard 5.0 engine. That is only used on a 5.0 High Output engine which you do not have.
