Gently roll the person onto their side, preferably their left side, supporting their head and neck. Position their lower arm at a right angle to their body and place the upper arm across their chest, ensuring the airway remains open. Finally, tilt the head back slightly to keep the airway clear and monitor their breathing until help arrives.
