There is no flag of Greater Manchester registered with the Flag Institute of the UK, but they are a relatively new and self-appointed organisation who serve only as consultants to central and local government, as well as selling their own books.

The only flag of Greater Manchester I've ever seen was the banner of arms of the old Greater Manchester County Council - which was ten golden castles on a red background within a fortified golden border. None of the major flag stores sell them though it seems, although they did used to appear for sale in places like Manchester's Northern Quarter.
