∙ 9y agoA food chain that might occur in a forest community would be a small herbivore (mouse) eating a plant and then being eaten by a carnivore (owl). In the ocean shrimp would eat plankton a larger fish would eat the shrimp and then the larger fish would be eaten by a shark or dolphin. The desert would be the same smaller animal eaten by something larger.

cacti --> burrowing owl --> sidewinder (snake) --> hawk (or other large bird of prey)
