The force is called gravity. It is a force that works both ways, i.e. when the Sun's gravity operates on a planet, there isan equal an opposite force acting the other way but the Sun is so massive it hardly moves, because force equals mass times acceleration, so if mass is large the acceleration is low.
Gravity and inertia. Inertia keeps the planets moving while the gravity of the sun keeps the planets drawn to orbit in ellipses.
Gravity.
Centripetal Force. That force is, of course, supplied by gravitional force.
Gravity
The force of gravity causes orbits.
It keeps the planets orbiting the sun The moon's gravitational pull on Earth causes tides on Earth, And satellites

The Sun's gravity keeps the planets orbiting the Sun.
The force of gravity keeps the Earth (and all the other planets) orbiting the Sun.
The Sun's Gravitational pull keeps the planets orbiting it, not flying into deep space.
The force that keeps all of our planets in rotation is gravity.
The force of gravity.
the purpose is the gravitational pull wich keeps the planets and stars from drifting apart
The gravity of there star keeps them on path and a planets moon is sun around by its planets gravitational force
