The front forks take 482 cubic centimers or 0.5 quarts each. You should jack the bike´s front up so the front wheel is just above ground level because else you will not get the space needed for the oil. The front forks need to be fully extended. Be careful to keep the bike stable on the jack so it won´t fall. Loosen the top nuts before you jack it up but don´t remove them before you lift the bike up. Some people prefer a little more front fork oil, others a little less, depending on how stiff or soft they want the front suspension to be. There is also the oil weight to consider, most use 5 W or 10 W oil.
