If it Fe2(SO4)3 ... That is what you need to know for chem class. Among chemists, i guess to make it easier for data-storage purposes (like when making an industrial order).. i have also seen it like this.. Fe2S3O12 ... But that wont help you for the exam. You MUST know that a sulphate (SO4)3- and a sulphite (SO3)-3 BOTH have a -3 charge.
