The factors that impact mission statement formulation are all the stakeholders such as customers, shareholders, employees as well as the vision of the company, the products, markets and technologies that are employed. Other factors should also be considered such as the socio-economic climate within which a company operates as well as the laws that govern that environment. There are four main stages of a product life cycle. After the product is developed there is the introduction stage, the growth stage, the maturity stage and the final stage is the decline.
