"I can personally whistle louder than a 747 jet. I think I am probably around 160+ decibels as measured at 20 feet. Curious if anyone else has measured, I think I am probably the loudest in the world without using fingers or other devices."
Not even close...
160db at 20' would require a source level of 208+ db assuming inverse square loses, the very air clips at 194+ db and yes the space shuttle is not even this loud even though it burns fuel at a rate of almost 20,000 pounds of solid fuel per second generating 5.6million pounds of thrust or more.
My only question is, if your whistle is in fact 208+ db how far did your body get thrusted during the effort?
Most whistles either mouth generated or even external device produced but yet powered by the human lungs is less than 140 db at the source, and if measured at 20 feet should be -48db from the source level or <100db
Marco Ferrera (USA) achieved a whistle measuring 125 dB at 2.5 m (8 ft 3 in) away in the Deadroom at Schtung Music Studios, Santa Monica, Califormia, USA on 5 March 2004.

Yes, larger dogs have a deeper bark and smaller dogs have a higher-pitch bark. However, the volume of a dog's bark is not determined by its size.
