how to replace brake fluid on a 1999 Toyota 4runner
Take it to a brake shop. If you have to ask you aren't qualified to do it.
When changing the brake rotors on a 1990 Toyota 4runner the vehicle must be safely raised and propped up. The calipers must be loosen and rotors will be able to be removed. The process must be repeated for all four wheels.
Wal mart, any auto store. They are everywhere.
Check the brake light bulbs, one of them may not be installed correctly.
Below steering column on console panel, above brake pedal
mine is a button on middle council, by emergency brake. says ect
Have you checked the fuses or bulbs?
Brake system has air in it.
its an LED light, the whole unit has to be replaced. The spoiler needs to come off.
The brake light is controlled by a relay switch. If the relay switch is bad the brake lights will stay on. The brake light switch simply plugs in and out. Unplug the brake light switch until you can replace it.
I would suspect low fluid level. If the fluid level is ok, then have the brake system inspected.
