when in doubt it's always 50 to one. one pint of two stroke oil to 6 gallons of gas.
Actually, I have one of these motors and the manual. The mix is 50 to 1, 1 imperial pint to 5 imperial gallons or 1 US pint to 5 US gallons according to the manual. Use SAE30 or 2 Stroke oil, not 10W30.
50.1 ratio
32:1
you can find mixture on carb breather cover
50:1 The Manual says 100:1 dont do that unless you want to blow your motor.
50:1 is what I use
I have a 6 hp Johnson seahorse outboard and I was told to run it at 40:1 and have done so for ages and runs fine.
Your 1958 Johnson uses a 24 to 1 mixture.
The manufacturer recommends 50:1 mixture roughly 16 oz for 6 gallons
It depends what year. The older ones use 24:1.
It should be 50:1.
I have a 1984 Johnson 8 horse power outboard, what is the gas mixture?
50:1 is the correct mixture for a 1992 Johnson 60 hp outboard.
