The fuel capacity of a Ford F250 7.3 liter long bad truck is listed as 28 gallons. Ford offered an option for a second fuel tank doubling the fuel capacity.
I believe that is 38 U.S. gallons ( 143.6 liters )
I think it's 30 Gallons for the Crew Cab but I'm not Certain. I put 27 Gallons in mine yesterday (I don't have an owners manual) after running it with the fuel light on for as long as I dared.

The fuel tank's capacity is 42 gallons, however the neck to the fuel tank and the long fuel lines make the total fuel capacity 44 gallons.
For the xlt, crew cab, and the crew cab king ranch it is 29 gallons with the short bed, with the long bed with all those models it is 35 gallons, and with the XL it only comes with the 25 gallon tank.
