Vitamin A is needed for new cell growth; healthy skin, hair and tissues; and vision in dim light (it helps your pupils dilate).

  • Vitamin A combines with a protein called opsintoform rhodopsin in the rod cells of retina of eye. When vitamin is insufficient, the lack of rhodopsin makes it difficult to see in dim light.
  • It is involved in normal cell differentiation
  • Vitamin A supports male and female reproductive processes and bone growth
  • It is essential for immune function.

Vitamin A is important for good vision (particularly night vision), cell growth, and the immune system.

There are many types of vitamins and they all have their role in your body. But one of the many common types of Vitamins would be: Vitamin C, Vitamin B, and Vitamin A

Vitamin C: It is needed for wound healing, healthy gums and teeth.
