cell pores are just the same as the pores on your skin but on cells.

also you cant get any pimples or blackheads if germs or bactiria touches the cell pore the cell just self distruct itself

Pores allow the movement of gasses in and out of the plant/leaf. ie CO2 in and O2 out. Plants lose water through pores due to evaporation aswell.
