What is sprial spring?

Not sure what a sprial spring is but a spiral sprig is one whose radius increases from one end to the other.

What are the physics of springs?

Springs imply Newton's Third Law of Motion. Newton's third law of motion states that if a force acts upon an object, the object reacts with an equal and opposite force. Plus, the design of the spring is a spiral, and this type of design leads to an exact opposite reaction to the force being acted upon it. In other words, when you push on a spring, Newton's Third Law comes into effect and its opposite reaction is stable and focused into fighting the original force acting upon it. This makes the spring bounce, and that is the physics of springs.

What is the function of physics?

the main function of Physics is to derive the different properties of this world. treat it as evolving solution that will eventually help the human civilization.

Who is Robert hooke and what did he contribute to physics?

Hooke was an english physisist.mathematician and inventor and was considered the greatest mechanic of his age. He was the first to to formulate planetary movements Built first Gregorian telescope Invented spiral spring watches Coined the term Cell in biology but probably most famous in physics for Hooks Law which states that stretching a solid is proportional to the force applied to it.

Can you determine the mass of an object greater than the maximum mass that you use in the spiral spring?

You could use two or more spiral springs to share the weight. You could use a pulley system with a big mechanical advantage and use the spiral spring to measure the reduced load. Or you could use a lever with a big mechanical advantage in a similar way.
