What is the function of the ADH?

ADH stands for Anti diuretic hormone also known as Vasopressin.
  1. It is a peptide hormone that controls the re-absorption of molecules in the tubules of the kidneys by affecting the tissue's permeability.
  2. it also increase peripheral vascular resistance which in turn increase arterial blood pressure.
  3. it plays a key role in homeostasis and regulation of water,glucose and salts in the blood.
