What is the nature of eye lens of human eye and that of the image formed at the retina of the eye by it?

our eye has convex lens which has got the power of converging image . so when the light fall on the convex lens the sensory nerve of our eye immediately send electrical impulse to the mind then the mind make the clear and virtual image .or say when convex lens converge the falling light , the convex lens have a focus point which is retina at where all the light rays focused and images is formed .

Contact lens which side goes towards eye?

convex way facing eye

How many lenses does the human eye have?

A convex or converging lens is found in the human eye.

What type of lens is the lens of your eye?

The lens in the human eye is a convex lens, but it is flexible and when it is acted on by the ciliary muscle around it, the lens can be "flattened" to change the focus, or, when the muscle is relaxed, the lens can assume a more spherical shape. This is at the heart of the ability of the eye to focus on objects nearer or farther away.

Why is the image in your eye produced upside down before it is flipped by the brain?

if there is an object before a lens at a distance more than its focal length and is surrounded by a rarer medium it always forms the image on the other side of lens and is inverted w.r.tobject. our eye lens will simply act like a biconvex lens whose focal length is around 2.5cm . there fore images formed on the retina will be inverted and they are made upright by the brain system.

Is your eye concave or convex?

The cornea is convex, and so is the lens ... both my remaining natural lens and my IOL.

Why do you need convex lens in eye instead of concave?

we need convex lens in eyes as convex lens bulges out and thus focuses the outside light rays at a particular point in our eye, so then only we are able to see.

Is a camera lens convex?

Yes it is a convex lens just like the one in your eye! A convex lens goes outwards but a concave lens goes inwards (like a cave). Simple! :-) xoxo
